TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account
TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
